Prophecy is a Christian Pop/Rock Band based out of Corpus Christi, Texas that has been ignited with the love of Christ and called to deliver a message of God’s Grace, Love, Mercy and Strength proved through, the deliverance from Addiction.

Debra Scott, the leader of the band, who’s powerful testimony of a teen turned run-a-way, who married, had a son, became a divorced single mother and ultimately a homeless drug addict adult with stage 3 melanoma cancer, was delivered from the depths to become a shining light of hope through her example of a life not only forgiven and saved, but anointed for God’s Glory.

The band began as the Praise Band from St. John’s UMC Corpus Christi in 1998 and has since traveled all over Texas participating in large Venue Concerts, Workshops, Retreats, and Conferences (both as performers and as panel members).

Prophecy has built a reputation as a group who fearlessly delivers God’s ministry to all people “Where They Live” through “Holy Spirit filled music” consisting of Rock Solid Rhythms, Soulful Melodies, Edgy Leads, and crowned by the Powerfully Anointed Vocals of Debra Scott.

In 2006 Prophecy produced their first single written by Debra Scott “Here I Am” and in 2007 opened for Building 429. They performed at Spirit Jam 2008 as the primary opener for Michael W. Smith. On September 26th they will be at Sandstock in Port Aransas Texas and on October 10th they are performing at Judahfest with The Afters, KJ-52 and The Red Airplanes. In February of 2010 the band is slated to provide the music ministry for “IT’S A GIRL THING” conference in Corpus Christi.
