One of the most creative and reliable restaurants in Port Aransas is the Crazy Cajun, located on the corner of Beach and Station Streets. With it’s long history, casual atmosphere, simple menu and fresh ingredients, it’s a place the whole family will love.

First time visitors – Sandstock recommends the Hungry Cajun – shown at the right. Fresh shrimp, crawfish, crab, corn & potatoes perfectly seasoned and thrown on your table with warm-from-the-oven bread and a little spicy sausage and melted butter to help it all slide down.

Sparring spouses – beware! This feast comes with hammers. Do not upset your date on the way in to dinner or you might find yourself out back in one of the garden ponds with a headache and no ride home.

For the less seafaring folk the ribs are sure to please. One hostess loves the BBQ sauce so much that she douses everything – including the etoufee – with it.  We all think the etoufee is amazing without it, but to each their own.
